This time, we're going down to the coast, opened by Porto da Cruz, along the famous Vereda do Larano, and hiking down to Machico through Levada do Caniçal. This video is part of a series documenting a 3-day adventure along the same paths that MIUT (Madeira Island Ultra Trail) goes through. We recorded it between May 30th 2024 and Jun 01st. The story behind is that a year before, Aga run the 115km ultra running event (MIUT), and a year later we came back, to hike this trail again.
